History of Mystic Lake Hotel

Mystic Lake Hotel was first opened in 1992 under the name Mystic Lakes Casino & Hotel. However, due to Minnesota’s gaming laws at that time, it could not offer casino-style mysticlakecasino.ca games. In response, the SMSC focused on building a resort with amenities and activities designed for family entertainment.

The hotel underwent significant renovations in 2006, increasing its room count and introducing new amenities such as the Mystic Lake Casino (which replaced the original casino) and an adjacent shopping center called Treasure Island Center. The changes transformed the property into one of the largest employers in Scott County and a major tourist destination in Minnesota.
